Matt is an IPVision consultant and a serial entrepreneur. He founded Product Genesis, an innovation and technology consulting firm spun out of the MIT Innovation Center in 1986. In the evolution of Product Genesis, Matt directed numerous development programs, integrating teams of many disciplines and broad geographic range. Matt is also the founder of Altair Avionics, a United Technologies company specialized in airborne data acquisition, analysis and web-based diagnostic and reporting systems for turbine aircraft engines. Matt recently served as President of DCI Engineering, a Coghlin Company.
He served on the Governing Board of the MIT Center for Innovation in Product Development from 1998-2000 and holds about a dozen US and international patents.
Matt holds a B.S.M.E. and M.S.in Mechanical Engineering and Technology Product Development from MIT and an M.S. from Yale University in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, where he was also a Sheffield Fellow.
