Val is an IPVision consultant with over 35 years of experience. During his career, Dr. Livada has combined expertise in the areas of strategic planning and organizational dynamics, with a detailed knowledge in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, new business/product development, and R&D management. Val has worked with Global 300 companies such as GM, Nokia, BD, Hitachi, startup ventures, regional development organizations and university technology transfer groups. He has also advised dozens of start-ups in a wide range of technology industries.
Val is currently a senior lecturer at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and an adjunct lecturer at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from MIT and an M.A., M.A.L.D., and Ph.D. in International Affairs from Tufts University’s Fletcher School.
