Hoo-min is a co-founder of IPVision and focuses on high-technology and venture clients from his base in Silicon Valley.
He received his S.B., S.M., and PhD from MIT where he became a Professor of Electrical Engineering, Management and Computer Science. Hoo-min has led dozens of technology development projects resulting in successful new product launches, including advising IBM as they pioneered their first personal computers.
Hoo-min left his seat at MIT to join fabless semiconductor design company MIPS Technologies, Inc. on the West Coast as a Director and General Manager until it was sold to Silicon Graphics.
Hoo-min has founded and directed several IT hardware and software companies in areas of graphics and multiprocessor systems. He also holds several software interconnection, data organization and visualization patents.
